We are well aware that there are many poor quality financial resources on the web. Even the more well known usually require companies to pay to be listed - and that often amounts to many thousands of pounds.

We don't accept payment for listing a company or service, nor do we recommend any. We only list a website or product if we believe it is worth mentioning and has value to consumers. In this regard we are almost unique.

Briefly we'd like to point out the following:

• All sites are hand picked and reviewed by our editorial staff
• A review is valid at its publication date (ie please check details before making any commitment)
• Website images and statistics are provided by Alexa, a website monitoring service
• We have no financial relationship with any website listed
• Our resource guide is a work in progress. The main guide will be completed by the end of February 2006
• During March 2006, we shall be adding product details for the major banks
